Every morning, hundreds of visitors begin the trek up the 1,700-meter summit of Mount Batur to watch the sun rise above the surrounding mountains. The hike is relatively easy and usually takes about two to three hours. Guided treks typically include a picnic breakfast, with eggs cooked by the steam from the active volcano. Manta Point and North-Nusa Penida<\/h3>\n

Some of the best diving in Bali can be found around Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. Three islands just South East of Bali. Dive Manta Point to dive with the elegant manta rays. Discover the beautiful drift dives on the North of Nusa Penida and get a chance to dive with the impressive sunfish (mola mola) in the right season, usually between August-October. The visibility around these islands can be brilliant on occasion.<\/p>\n

Padang Bay<\/h3>\n

The variety of dive sites around Padang Bay is impressive. Dive Padang Bay and enjoy the beautiful corals and diverse marine life. From anemone fish and frogfish to occasionally turtles and reef sharks. Go on the look out for weird critters at Pura Jepun and the Jetty.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tulamben and USAT Liberty wreck<\/h3>\n

Dive Tulamben and you will dive on one of the most famous scuba dive spots in the world: The USAT Liberty Wreck. The wreck is covered in corals and fans and is home to a variety of marine life. But there is more in Tulamben: dive on the Drop Off or the Coral Garden or visit Kubu, where you find another relatively new wreck. All dives here are shore dives.<\/span><\/p>\n

North-West Bali offers some great, relaxing diving and is testament to the variety Bali has to offer.\u00a0Best known is Menjangan island \u2013 part of Menjangan National Marine Park. Dive Menjangan island and enjoy spectacular reefs and walls, groupers, large groups of jacks and turtles and some beautiful scenery. The dive sites can be reached by taking a boat from Pemuteran.<\/p>\n
