Auditing an IDC<\/h3>\n

During the IDC Staff Instructor course, you will audit an entire IDC. You will learn how to score Instructor candidates on their skill performance and teaching abilities, but auditing an IDC is about much more than that.<\/p>\n
Together with your Course Director you will coach the Instructor candidates towards a successful IE and you will learn to use your experience in the diving industry to motivate and support beginning diving instructors.<\/p>\n
This is very valuable in your work in your dive center. As an IDC Staff Instructor you will be regarded as a senior instructor and a mentor for less experienced staff members.<\/p>\n

During the IDC audit you will present a knowledge development session with a score of at least 4.0.

You will discuss the evaluation of the instructor candidates with your Course Director and give positive feedback to the candidates, (hopefully) seeing their performance and conficdence improve towards the IE.<\/p>\n
