If you\u2019re looking for a unique scuba diving adventure, ask your PADI Instructor what distinctive specialties he or she teaches.<\/p>\n

Individual PADI instructors can teach (with PADI\u2019s approval) their own \u201cdistinctive\u201d specialty courses. The course can be specific to an area such as\u00a0Lava Tube Diver<\/em>, or a particular line of work \u2013\u00a0Underwater Model<\/em>,\u00a0Helicopter Diver<\/em>, etc.<\/p>\n

If you have an inner marine biologist, consider taking one or more of Project AWARE\u2019s distinctive specialties: Shark Conservation, Sea Turtle and\/or Whale Shark Awareness.
