PADI Multilingual OWSI on Phi Phi Island

Job Description

PADI 5* Eco-Dive Centre looking for a PADI OWSI to join our team from May 2024 with a passion for quality teaching, customer service and ocean conservation!

We have an amazing dive centre location out of town on the beautiful island of Koh Phi Phi.

We are looking for an instructor *multilingual a bonus. Prefer to already be in Asia and with experience working in Asia/Thailand a bonus. New instructors are also welcome as we can nurture/mentor the right candidate.

Position is full time for minimum 3 months to cover the busy low season as part of our small but busy dive centre.

During May – June we are still busy and have some of our longterm staff taking a break so there will be alot of work available. July – August is a busy period as well for our small team, before it gets quiet again in September.

Our aim is to keep our ethos of eco-friendly diving, with safety and PADI training to the highest standard. And maintain our highly rated review score online.

Requirements;

Minimum PADI OWSIProfessional demeanor with excellent customer serviceFun, dynamic, hard working, ability to work as a team and adapt to changing / sometimes busy environmentProblem solving, can-do positive attitudeWilling to go above and beyond for our guestsSpanish or French speaking preferred with high level of EnglishAvailable to work from May – June Full time with possibility of longer termWilling to learn and grow as an instructorExcellent judgement in regards to safety, PADI standards and trainingFull Professional Diving insuranceFull equipment setPhotography skills a bonusAWARE Shark/Dive against Debris/Conservation Diver Specs (or willing to self certify)
Successful Candidate (OWSI) would teach Open Water Courses, Advanced, Discover Scuba Dives and also Divemaster/Rescue training, Scuba Reviews, guide fun divers, guide our Private Eco Snorkel tours. Can also offer photography services and teach AWARE Specialties. We have a swimming pool for confined training and we dive both from big boats and custom built, traditional Thai longtail boats

We would love an Ocean Quest Trainer or anyone familiar with/trained in this technique of coral gardening to work on our community coral nursery.
