That was fun! Asia Scuba Instructors’ very first PADI IDC in Koh Chang was an absolute success! We’re happy and proud of our amazing candidates who are now all PADI diving instructors!
Lovely surroundings
From the moment we arrived at Scuba Squad in Bang Bao, we knew this IDC was going to be special. Koh Chang has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere. Away from the crazy crowds. Just peaceful island vibes, and a relaxed setting to make learning enjoyable.
Hard Work Pays Off
The PADI IDC is no walk in the park! Our candidates put in serious work, spending mornings in the pool, afternoons in the classroom, and putting in late-night study sessions at home.
But it was an incredible joy to watch them grow from nervous candidates into confident instructors!
Exam Day
Then, as the Instructor Exam comes closer, nerves are running high and our future dive pro’s got butterflies in their stomach. Pre-exam jitters! But luckily, when exam day arrived, something clicked. All the hard work paid of and our candidates absolutely crushed it. They’re All PADI Instructors Now!
Post-IDC Diving
After all that intense focus and hard work, we headed out on Scuba Squad’s brand new boat to complete the MSDT program. Adding 5 Specialty Instructor certifications to the candidates achievements. There is some amazing diving in Koh Chang, and for me personally, it was a joy to explore Koh Chang’s healthy coral reefs.
Highlight, of course, were the 2 dives on the HTMS Chang wreck. I think the diving around Koh Chang is seriously underrated.
