Choosing the best PADI IDC to become a diving instructor can be challenging. There are so many options, and they all claim to be the ‘best’ PADI IDC! We like to be a bit more modest, but we do think that our PADI IDC program is pretty unique!

Asia Scuba Instructors is more than just a dive center. We are a network of dive centers and diving instructors around Asia. If you complete your PADI IDC with us, you will become part of that network.

With active contacts at dive centers throughout Asia, we regularly share job openings and connect our graduates directly with employers looking for quality instructors. Many of our past candidates have received job offers before they even finished the IDC—and not by chance! We actively recommend our graduates to trusted dive centers we know are looking for reliable staff.
Unlike other IDCs that make vague promises, or offer not much more than a resume writing workshop, our job support is ongoing and personal. We don’t disappear after your course ends. Whether you’re looking for your first job or considering the next step in your diving career, you can always reach out to us.
No job guarantee. Just real support
We want to be clear: we don’t offer “job guarantees” which are often misleading or even illegal. Since many instructor jobs are commission-based, having a guaranteed job with the dive center where you do your IDC, doesn’t mean you will earn any money.
What we offer is genuine support based on 20+ years of experience, connections, and hard work. We’ll get you in touch with diving centers that have outstanding job offers. Our recommendation is valuable because most dive centers know us and we have a great reputation for training excellent instructors.
But of course, you need to present yourself in a professional way during an interview and make sure that you get hired.
This approach works well, and many of our graduates have gone on to work in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and even the Maldives —all with a little help from us.
More than ‘just another PADI IDC’
At Asia Scuba Instructors we like to think that we offer a pretty unique PADI IDC program. Generally, candidates who sign up for our PADI IDC are not looking for the ‘cheapest option’, or for the ‘easiest way’ to get their PADI instructor rating.
They recognize that we are fully comitted to support our candidates in a unique way – before, during, and long after the IDC.
