PADI just launched a crossover promotion for instructors from other training organisations, and the savings are real.
Who Can Use This
Open to nationals of the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia. It runs across Asia Pacific from September 1st to December 20th, 2026.
What You Save
PADI waives the initial IE fees, EFRI application, and Instructor application fees, including your 2027 membership, saving you AUD 2,295 in total.
The Requirements
Your current instructor certification needs to be issued on or before August 14th, 2026. Certified after that, you’re not eligible.
You’ll also need to be in good standing with your current agency, meet PADI’s normal IDC/OWSI and IE prerequisites, complete a full IDC/OWSI Program with a PADI Course Director, and buy the required materials.
Ask your Course Director
Your Course Director needs to register you directly with the PADI Asia Pacific Instructor Development team. Places are limited and approvals are first-come, first-served. PADI can close the promotion early once spots run out. If you’re serious, contact your PADI Course Director now.
Not sure if you qualify for this? Or want to see how we can plan your IDC around this window? Get in touch, and we’ll walk you through exactly what PADI needs before you commit to anything.
More than ‘just another PADI IDC’
At Asia Scuba Instructors we like to think that we offer a pretty unique PADI IDC program. Generally, candidates who sign up for our PADI IDC are not looking for the ‘cheapest option’, or for the ‘easiest way’ to get their PADI instructor rating.
They recognize that we are fully comitted to support our candidates in a unique way – before, during, and long after the IDC.
We run PADI IDC’s every month in multiple locations around Asia.
Still not convinced? Have a look what our former candidates have to say about us!
